System Design Capabilities

Huber, Inc has successfully designed, fabricated and supplied fluid power systems with programmable logic controls. These systems were designed and commissioned by the Huber Engineering Team. Most of the systems we design are in production facilities that are constantly used 80-90% annually. Due to our tremendous growth, Huber has invested in the latest technology to support our fabrication capabilities. These include the computer aided design technology, 3 dimensional modeling, updated burning and welding machinery, and highly trained personnel.

Huber has designed and fabricated systems that are installed on U.S. Navy combat vessels, which require equipment to meet military specifications for Grade A shock, and airborne noise and vibration. The quality control program complies with MIL-I-45208 inspection requirements and all Huber welders are certified for the numerous materials and procedures employed in complex fabrications. The service and repair facilities have test equipment which can accommodate most all hydraulic pumps and motors, including those with metric connections. Technicians are all factory trained and certified.

Equipment Capabilities

Hydraulic Pump Test Stand:

  • 100 hp motor with a 4 speed transmission, variable speed and rotation
  • 6000 psi with 100 gal and 200 gal filtered reservoirs
  • Open and closed loop capable (testing up to 5 segments simultaneously)
  • Accessories; Large assortment of fittings, flow meters, hoses, joysticks, sub plates, couplings, pilot plates adaptable to nearly any shaft

Other Equipment:

  • Drill/hydraulic presses, pedestal grinder and band saw
  • End milling machines (most NPT sizes, SAE o-rings, 4-bolt split flange ports)
  • Light machining and welding
  • Specialized tools (bearing pullers, presses, seal removal, tube benders)
  • Flow meters, pressure gauges and pressure switches
